welcome to taurus season, “la dolce vita” vibes commence! we left fiery aries season on april 19th and moved into earthy taurus season, where we will stay until may 20th. may is actually one of the best months of the year (more on that in the may edition next week). taurus is ruled by venus, planet of love, beauty and money, so those will be our themes. taurus rules the five senses, so be sure to satisfy your taste, smell, hearing, touch and sight needs, while leaning into your sixth sense of intuition. if you get anxious during taurus season, practice the 5,4,3,2,1 grounding method here. taurus season wants you to slow down and enjoy life, so go out for lunch and order the wine, stop by a gallery or museum mid-day, go to a concert or play, book that spring makeover, get into nature, luxuriate, eat the cheese plate and the pasta, surround yourself with flowers and plants by bringing the earth inside, if you aren’t treating yourself and enjoying life each day, you are doing it wrong (trust me, i am a taurus). and, more importantly, know your worth. if you have been considering increasing your rates, do it during taurus season, even venice announced a new tourist entrance fee today (the italians always know what’s best and so do us bulls). reminder to all taurus readers - taurus is the luckiest sign in the zodiac until may 25th - use it! (gemini, you are next, so rest up).

mercury retrograde ended at 8:54amET today, so conversations and projects that were initiated before april 1st should start to move forward again. keep in mind that the shadow phase will run through may 13th, this just means that while we are moving forward, it might be more of a walk vs a run until after may 13th. read about the area of life mercury retrograde affected and tips on how your sign should move forward here (let’s just hope that kanye’s new venture, announced last night, does not move forward. read all about it here).
the moon will be void of course tonight from 7:15pmET - 9:37pmET. not the time to start anything new or have any important conversations (go rangers and knicks! could be a slow or messy start).
pisces jon bon jovi’s band documentary, thank you, goodnight: the bon jovi story, will be released tomorrow on hulu, watch trailer here. and, don’t miss his interview this week on smartless, listen here. he says he has not experienced pure joy in a decade due to medical issues with his vocal cord (he underwent vocal fold medialization surgery in the summer of 2022). during that time he was in his saturn return in aquarius, and now saturn is in his sun sign (if you are a pisces you might be feeling challenged as well). he is a taurus rising, and that has been a saving grace for him, as his image has been boosted with good luck. it is no coincidence that his documentary is coming out during taurus season, it will do very well and be an uplifting experience for him (joy for jon).
now that mercury has gone direct, see how you can push forward on these themes, especially in terms of communication and technology, and pay attention to what comes back to you (pisces reggie bush is getting his heisman trophy back and 80% of ships can now enter the baltimore port starting today).
